NO MORE and Torrens University teamed up to tackle the issue of domestic and family violence, and the result showed how important partnerships are in tackling real-world issues. Domestic and family violence is a complex, entrenched issues and it takes more than one organisation, one sector, or one approach to drive change.
Universities play a crucial role in shaping the world we want to live in, and this project turned learning into action. For students, the experience has been a game-changer—moving beyond theory to apply their knowledge in ways that create genuine impact.
The collaboration opportunity has enabled students to move beyond theory and apply their knowledge in a way that has genuine impact on people’s lives by contributing to the activities and resources that will be used by NO MORE. This is the kind of hands-on experience that not only helps build skills but also instils a sense of purpose, showing them how their work can contribute to social change.
